It’s evident in the businesses Bridgeway supported, like Botl, a restaurant and bar that just acquired an adjacent property to provide much-needed parking and storage. There’s Frankie’s Friends Cat Rescue, which provides veterinary services and medical rescue with the goal of keeping cats out of shelters. Right across the street from Frankie’s sits a new project by Patriot Technology Holdings to develop apartment buildings into much-needed student housing for Penn State New Kensington.
And there’s Odi’s Emporium, a retail store run by immigrants Odi and Mimi that sells everything from televisions to tennis shoes. Over at Odi’s, Odi and Mimi are working with Bridgeway Capital to fine-tune their plan for business growth and help set themselves up for success. And Olde Towne Overhaul is rehabilitating buildings up and down New Kensington’s main streets, creating space for small businesses.
