Aaron has 9 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. He worked as a Branch Manager for several banks before joining Bridgeway Capital in 2012 as an Entrepreneur Loan Officer. He was awarded various awards during his banking career including a PNC Achievement Award and he was a 2 time Champion Award winner at National City Bank. He is currently the Business Education Director at Bridgeway Capital where he oversees the technical assistance program. Aaron enjoys community service and has facilitated financial literacy courses at area high schools and churches. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Northside Christian Health Center as the Vice President. Aaron received his BA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and his MBA from Point Park University.

As Chief Underwriting Officer, T.J. is responsible for all aspects of credit approval, credit administration, loan underwriting, closing for all loan products, portfolio administration, and policy development.  T.J. brings over two decades of diverse banking experience to Bridgeway Capital.  Working for a Pittsburgh based superregional bank, he most recently focused on credit portfolio management and strategy, policy development, regulatory compliance, and governance and process improvement.  He also has extensive experience managing commercial real estate problem assets and as a corporate finance account manager and credit analyst.  T.J. holds a BBA in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Mary Kay brings 17 years of experience to Bridgeway Capital as an accounting manager with Highmark Inc. and its subsidiary companies. While there she worked with both non-profit and for-profit entities in a variety of industries. Prior to her experience at Highmark, Mary Kay worked as an accounting manager for a major Pittsburgh retailer. She received her BS in Accounting from Point Park University and also holds a BS in Music Education from Duquesne University.

Tanner Fitzgerald

Tanner graduated from Penn State University in 2013 with a BS in Finance. Prior to joining Bridgeway Capital, Tanner was a Senior Auditor and AVP at PNC where he worked on the Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses (ALLL).  His responsibilities included analysis of PNC’s loan loss reserves, as well as proper accounting treatment and reporting of troubled credit.   He worked in Investment Operations at Federated before his time at PNC. Tanner has successfully completed all required testing to obtain a CPA License.


Adam Kenney

Adam brings a comprehensive nonprofit administration skill set to his role at Bridgeway Capital. His previous position was as the Executive Director of Touchstone Center for Crafts where he managed a wide range of activities including marketing, development, and program design. Adam also served as the Manager of Operations for the Arts Education Collaborative, an arts education advocacy organization under the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. In addition, he possesses 20 years of experience as a glassmaker in production and academic settings. Adam earned a BA in History from Centre College, and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Art Management (MAM) degree.

Scott Langill has nearly 20 years of accounting and finance experience with various higher-education and nonprofit institutions. Scott brings extensive experience in areas such as financial reporting, gift and grant accounting, capital and operational budgeting, and business administration. Scott holds a BS in Accounting from Bentley University, and has done graduate work in Management at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.

Bruce Ludwick

Bruce brings over 35 years of business and banking experience to Bridgeway Capital, beginning as a clerk in the parts room of his family’s automobile dealership, gaining experience in each department, graduating from the Chevrolet School of Merchandising and Management, and progressing to the position of General Manager. After returning to school to complete a graduate degree, he served for 7 years with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency where he earned a commission as a National Bank Examiner. Bruce served as examiner in charge or assisting examiner in banks of all sizes and conditions throughout the Southeastern District and as an instructor for district schools. In addition, he served on a special task force in Washington that was charged with determining the circumstances that led to national bank failures. The information obtained by the task force was used in the booklet entitled Bank Failure – An Evaluation of the Factors Contributing to the Failure of National Banks that was circulated industry-wide.

Since leaving the OCC, Bruce has served several banks in positions including Vice President and Northern Virginia Team Leader – Credit Review in NationsBank’s Washington Metro Area, Loan Review Officer with Johnstown Savings Bank, President and CEO of Premier Bank – North, and SVP and Regional Executive for F & M Bank – West Virginia. Bruce earned a BA in History and an MBA from West Virginia University.

Christopher A. Luedy

Chris brings 20 years of commercial real estate, lending, and credit experience to his role at Bridgeway Capital. He has managed several commercial loan portfolios in the local market ranging from $50MM to $70MM in portfolio size. Over the years, Chris has worked on numerous investment real estate transactions including residential land development, apartment, office, warehouse, and self-storage space. In his prior positions, he has been responsible for the management and growth of existing commercial portfolios coupled with credit and underwriting analysis of loan transactions. Chris received his BA in History from the University of Pittsburgh and an Advanced Accounting Certificate from Duquesne University.

Brad Maniscalco

Brad Maniscalco is the Regional and National Markets Specialist for the Craft Business Accelerator. Brad identifies and facilitates growth opportunities for the creative businesses in the Monmade trade group. His work helps Monmade producers access growth opportunities that create jobs and reactivate underutilized industrial and storefront spaces in disinvested communities. Brad comes to Bridgeway Capital with extensive experience in digital marketing. From working with Start Ups, Ad Agencies and everything between, Brad will not only help Monmade producers hone their marketing practices but will work as liaison between them and potential business opportunities.  After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Public Relations, Brad worked in New York City for several years as a Special Education teacher while simultaneously earning his Master’s in Education before he moved back to his hometown of Pittsburgh.

Mark Peterson founded and leads Bridgeway Capital, which manages $96 million and invests in economic opportunity and community revitalization across western Pennsylvania.  Since 1990, the organization’s team has help placed over 1,000 loans for $145 million, which have leveraged nearly $470 million in additional financing.  More than 11,000 jobs have been created and retained, leading toward its mission to create a thriving region for all.  Mr. Peterson has more than 38 years of experience in managing nonprofit organizations in Pittsburgh.  Prior to founding Bridgeway Capital, he served as a management and fundraising consultant to nonprofit organizations.  Mark received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Wittenberg University.

Dwayne Rankin

She has also worked as a guest relations officer and production assistant for a major advertising and public relations firm located in Downtown Pittsburgh. Prior to joining Bridgeway Capital, Jake spent more than 6 years in public accounting at a firm in Elmhurst, IL, during which time he worked primarily servicing the accounting, tax and advisory needs of small businesses in the Chicago area. He then spent 3 years as the first corporate controller of an established Midwest freight transportation company, where he developed their accounting procedures and systems while overseeing all finance and accounting duties and staff. During this time in Illinois, he also was appointed and served as treasurer for his church for 6 years as well as treasurer of a church denominational fund for 3 years. He holds a BS in Accounting from Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL and achieved CPA status in 2011.

Katie Schaible

She ran a high tech design and manufacturing business in which she oversaw the development of multiple products from idea to manufacturing. After a successful exit from her own business, she used her combined business and product development skills to help companies and entrepreneurs work through the innovation process as a technical consultant. As the Monmade Design and Development Specialist, Katie uses her talents to translate design opportunities from larger businesses into catalytic opportunities for the Monmade trade group.

Blair Schoenborn

Prior to joining Bridgeway Capital, Blair served as a senior analyst at BNY Mellon and was instrumental in launching the global Social Finance initiative. She brings 7 years of project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications experience in both the public and private sectors to Bridgeway Capital. Blair holds an MBA in Sustainability from Duquesne University and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Allegheny College.

Dawn Seckler

Dawn has transitioned into Bridgeway Capital after five years working as the University of Pittsburgh’s Associate Director of the Center for Russian and East European Studies and the Executive Director of the Summer Language Institute. In those roles, Dawn gained substantial experience raising funds from federal grants and private foundations to support underserved student populations, develop international academic programs, and support Pitt faculty’s research interests.  She is eager to employ her grant writing and reporting skills to promote equitable economic opportunity and community revitalization in Western Pennsylvanian.  Dawn received her B.A. from Colby College in Waterville, Maine and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Russian literature and cinema, respectively, from the University of Pittsburgh.

Andre Simon

Andre Simon is a Community Development Loan Officer. He is responsible for managing relationships, as it pertains to commercial real estate investments. Formerly of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he has several years of financial analysis experience, underwriting various credit facilities for commercial banking clients. Andre has a comprehensive understanding of lending through his formal credit training, in addition to a background in sales.  Andre is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology: International Business. He is also a Posse Foundation Scholar.  Andre is expected to graduate from Carnegie Mellon University in the Spring of 2019 with a Master of Public Management: Entrepreneurship & Real Estate Development.
