Susan A. Apel
Vice President Legal & General Counsel, Ellwood Group, Inc.
Ms. Apel is the chief legal officer of EGI, which produces engineered, heavy metal sections for capital specialty equipment manufacturers in the United States and around the world. Headquartered in Ellwood City, Pa., the company has nine operating business units, encompassing multiple plants in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Texas and Canada. Prior to joining EGI in 2005, Ms. Apel was a partner at K&L Gates LLP in Pittsburgh, where she spent 14 years focused on corporate transactions and commercial law. Ms. Apel also worked for Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in Washington, DC, and clerked for a federal judge in Seattle, Washington. She holds a B.A. from Kenyon College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
 
Kurt Bevan
Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer, Northwest Savings Bank

Mr. Bevan has over 20 years of experience in commercial lending for several community banks and PNC Bank. Mr. Bevan was one of Bridgeway Capital’s original loan committee members in the early 1990s.

Sarah B. Campbell
Retired from Western Region (23 counties) Department of Welfare Contract Specialist/Program Developer/Eligibility Resource Staff

Ms. Campbell retired in 1982 as a contract specialist and program developer for the Western Region Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. Ms. Campbell has a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Robert J. Emanuele
Vice President, PNC Bank

Mr. Emanuele has worked for over 20 years in commercial lending, most recently with PNC Financial Services Group. He received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and his M.B.A. in Finance from Robert Morris University.

Mary Molnar
Credit Officer II, Vice President, PNC Bank

Ms. Molnar manages a $100 million loan portfolio for PNC Bank and is responsible for credit structuring, underwriting, approval, and documentation of a broad range of credit transactions for clients with a sales range of $10 million to $50 million. She is a graduate of Duquesne University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Mark Peterson
President, Bridgeway Capital

Mark Peterson founded and leads Bridgeway Capital, which manages $54 million focused on economic growth across western Pennsylvania. Since 1990, the organization’s 15-person team has helped place nearly 600 loans for $63 million across the region, which has leveraged $236 million in additional financing. Nearly 5,000 jobs have been created and retained, leading toward the mission of a thriving region for all. Mr. Peterson has more than 30 years of experience in managing nonprofit organizations in Pittsburgh. Prior to founding Bridgeway Capital, he served as a management and fundraising consultant to nonprofit organizations. Mark received his BA in Sociology from Wittenberg University and completed course work with the American Banking Institute.

William "Skip" Schwab
Commercial Development Manager, East Liberty Development Incorporated

Mr. Schwab has over 20 years of experience in areas of research, planning, and program development in the fields of economic development, housing, and neighborhood reinvestment. He has a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
