New Pittsburgh Courier: The Asset Development Initiative of the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh recently held its graduation ceremony for 10 enterprising women at Bella Sera in Market Square. For 12 weeks the students participated in a course designed for women wanting to start a microenterprise; of the 10 program graduates, four are currently operating businesses. One of Bridgeway Capital's loan officers, Steve McCarron, provided words of encouragement at the ceremony and stressed the importance of knowing the financial aspect of their business. Jason Capps, owner of Bella Sera on the Square (and also a Bridgeway Capital borrower) discussed the importance of gaining support and having good credit.
