CL Fund recently honored the hard work and dedication of National City Bank by presenting them with the inaugural 2006 Impact Award during CL Fund’s annual meeting at the Sheraton Station Square. Aptly named for the potential economic impact of 504 lending throughout western Pennsylvania, CL Fund’s Impact Award recognizes dedication to economic development lending through 504 loans. 504 loans – the Small Business Administration’s economic development program – are used by businesses for real estate or equipment acquisition and improvements. “National City has partnered with us since the inception of our 504 lending program, and we are proud to say that National City was our major contributing partner in 2006,” said Angel Marschik, Vice President, CL 504. Kip Sobel, Executive Vice President, National City, said “The professionalism and expertise of our talented business bankers made this award possible. We’re proud to partner with CL Fund in its efforts to transform the regional economy. National City shares the strong belief, with our CL Fund partners, that the most effective use of the SBA is to overcome the last obstacle in making vital loans possible and creating real economic value in our neighborhoods.” In addition to honoring National City with the Impact Award, CL Fund also recognized the individual contributing lenders: Dave Bambrey, Vice President, Business Banking; Gene Cirka, Vice President, Senior Business Banker; Ron Pasic, Vice President, Senior Business Banker; Karen Piccirilli, Business Banking Officer; and Dave West, Vice President, Business Banking Area Manager. |
