Started with only one employee and four vehicles, Transportation Solutions is now a fast-moving transportation services company located in the Hill District in Pittsburgh, PA.  It provides shuttle services that transport employees, students, and visitors from parking lots to hospitals, offices and campuses throughout western Pennsylvania. In addition, the company provides transportation from door to door for patients leaving the hospital after a hospital stay or patients requiring transportation during cancer therapy treatments.

In 2005, Transportation Solutions received financing to construct a building for central maintenance, car care and administrative services. Currently, the company has more than 80 vehicles and 90 employees. Approximately 85 percent of the employees are minorities and 25 percent are women.
